Nao Xin Tong Zhi at the Grassroots

The Committee initiated the large public welfare activity of “Nao Xin Tong Zhi at the Grassroots” in collaboration with Nao Xin Tong Zhi Professional Committees and Organizing Committees of “Concentric, Shaping the Chinese Heart” in all provinces and cities, and China Guanghua Foundation. The nationwide experts in cardio-cerebrovascular disease were organized to go to grassroots hospitals nationwide to train the latest and most advanced diagnosis and treatment technology of physicians at the grassroots; meanwhile, they gave volunteer medical consultation to the grassroots patients, which enhanced the awareness of local masses to preventing and curing diseases, spread the “preventive treatment of diseases” and made due contribution to lowering the morbidity rate and disability rate of cardio-cerebrovascular disease. From its entry to Altay, Xinjiang in September 2012 to October 2016, the action Nao Xin Tong Zhi at the Grassroots had crossed 291 places, i.e., Xinjiang, Yunnan, Shanxi, Chongqing, Henan, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hainan, Gansu, Shandong, Hebei, Guangxi, Hunan, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, Ningxia and Fujian. 5,696 loving doctors participated in the event. They totally gave support to 512 grassroots hospitals at the level of county and town, offered volunteer medical consultation for 78,727 person-times, trained 16,939 grassroots doctors, conducted ward-inspection consultation for 1,359 person-times. The drugs of nearly RMB4 million were donated. In future, this activity will cover the grassroots in demands across the country.
