Buchang Company is more dedicated to public welfare establishments, and donated more than RMB500 million for years. In 2009, “Shaping the Chinese Heart - Love Plan for Cardio-cerebrovascular Health in the Western Region”, which was organized by Buchang and jointly undertaken by China Association of Chinese Medicine, Red Cross Society of China and well-known hospitals of Beijing, offered free aid to the patients with cardiovascular diseases in the poverty-stricken areas in the Western Region. In 2011, the Company made another donation of RMB100 million to promote the sustained development of the “Shaping the Chinese Heart” Project. The Company donated RMB5 million for Wenchuan Earthquake and Yushu Earthquake, respectively.
